What is CrossFit style training?

  • Functional movement at an intensity physically and mentally challenging (but tolerable) for YOU individually.

Who are your workout plans a good fit for?

  • Simply put, everyone. My athletes come in all shapes and sizes, young and old. Skill levels range from those who have never touched a weight, to those lifting competitively. My programs are individualized to take all these unique factors into account. I create workouts that will build on your foundation and challenge you. Just show up!

What is functional movement?

  • The movements we use in our daily lives to complete basic tasks (think sitting or standing from a chair, picking up a box off the floor, or lifting something overhead to put away) are functional movements. We don’t often refer to these movements as squats, deadlifts or shoulder presses in our everyday routines - but that’s what they are. These essential movements are translated into workouts that will help you build strength, power and mobility. This translates into a stronger you in all aspects of life.

How often will I see the same workout?

  • They say never say never, but in this case it’s true. Consistent with CrossFit training, my programming is constantly varied. Although you might see movements you recognize, no two workouts will be the same. The combination of movements, weight, reps, and time caps will vary and evolve as you do.
